Beginning in 2009, I decided to start keeping a log of my chemtrail observations in the hopes of identifying a pattern which might rule out chemtrails as benign byproducts of ordinary air traffic. Were chemtrails benign, random byproducts of ordinary air traffic, they should be visible daily, mirroring the consistency of regularly scheduled flights; or they should be random, reflecting the whimsey of nature's atmospheric conditions.
A little over a month into this project, I can already see a pattern, and it's neither of the above. The spraying activity appears to occur at eight-day intervals, with a variation of about two days. The vast majority of airline flights repeat on a daily basis, not a weekly or eight-day basis. And obviously, atmospheric conditions do not repeat on an eight-day basis either. So far, this chemtrail spraying does not appear to have any correlation with regularly scheduled air traffic or atmospheric conditions.

0 - None; no evidence of trails
1 - Light; a few scattered trails
2 - Moderate; dense trails over a select region
3 - Heavy; dense trails over a wide area
03 March 2009 is my final observation for Hickman, Kentucky.
