Small Town America: Hickman, Kentucky

I'm not from here. I stumbled upon this place while browsing the Internet, looking for a cheap house to buy. But having lived here on and off for four years, I've really come to love this place. It's a paradise really. Certainly it has its deficiencies, like any place, but overall I love living here.

For some more photos I took while kayaking on the Mississippi River, click here.

Fulton County courthouse
Beautiful Fulton County courthouse two blocks down the street from my house, built in 1903. I got my Kentucky driver’s license here in less than ten minutes and they printed it on the spot.

Kentucky license plates on truck
My truck adorned with Kentucky license plates. It took about ten minutes to register my car and they gave me a license plate on the spot.
