I'm not from here. I stumbled upon this place while browsing the Internet, looking for a cheap house to buy. But having lived here on and off for four years, I've really come to love this place. It's a paradise really. Certainly it has its deficiencies, like any place, but overall I love living here.

Kentucky state flag.

Town logo, featuring a riverboat, on water tank near my house.

Worn out rendition of town logo behind my house.

Beautiful Fulton County courthouse two blocks down the street from my house,
built in 1903. I got my Kentucky driver’s license here in less than ten minutes
and they printed it on the spot.

Brief history of Fulton County and Hickman, outside the courthouse.

My truck adorned with Kentucky license plates. It took about ten minutes to
register my car and they gave me a license plate on the spot.

Colorful Kentucky license plates.

The old Fulton County jail.

The wall that holds back the Mississippi River when it floods. To see why the flood wall is

Looking northeast across the “Harbor,” which is a channel off the Mississippi River.

Looking west at the sunset over the harbor; the main part of the Mississippi River
is in the direction of the sun.
